Who we are

Kettle Project ("we", "us") runs kettlebell classes at 6B Guiseley Way, Stockton-on-Tees TS16 0RF. This notice explains what personal information this website collects and why. Contact us about anything here: kettleproject.ts@gmail.com or 07752903889.

What we collect and why

• Account details — your name, email address and (optionally) phone number, so you can log in, book classes, and we can contact you about your bookings.
• Bookings & attendance — which classes you book and attend, which powers your booking history, attendance streaks, milestones and loyalty rewards.
• Progress log — any weights and personal bests you choose to record. This is optional and only you and the studio can see it.
• Health questionnaire status — whether you've confirmed completing the PAR-Q health form (the form itself is collected separately via Google Forms). We store only that you've confirmed it, not your answers.
• Payment records — what you've booked and how it was paid. Card details never touch our systems: payments are processed by Stripe, who handle your card data under their own privacy policy.
• Messages — anything you send through the contact form, so we can reply.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you've signed up for (contract), to run the business sensibly — like emailing you when a class is cancelled (legitimate interests) — and, where required, with your consent.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. It's processed by the services that run this site:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website and database
• Stripe — card payments and memberships
• Resend — sends transactional emails (booking confirmations, codes, alerts)

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your personal information, keeping only what we're legally required to retain (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how it's used — email kettleproject.ts@gmail.com. You can also complain to the ICO if you're unhappy with how we've handled something.

Cookies

The site uses one essential cookie: it keeps you logged in to the members hub. No advertising or tracking cookies.
